Functie
You will support the organization’s business goals by serving as a true business partner, balancing legal risks appropriately against business objectives. You will also help manage the further growth of HSO. Further, you will provide legal support to management in the development of company’s M&A strategy, partnerships and organization. You will be in contact with international colleagues on a day-to-day basis, liaise with external advisors and work in a dynamic environment. You have a broad scope of work with various jurisdictions and translate business needs into (practical) legal solutions. You will report directly to the CEO.
Functie-eisen
• Master’s degree in Dutch law or international law and at least 9 years of relevant working experience in a reputable international law firm in the Netherlands or abroad (e.g. in UK, US), or preferably in combination with some in-house experience (e.g. at least a secondment);
• Experience with shareholders dynamics, cross-border M&A acquisitions;
• Skilled in advising on national and international commercial (IT) contracts, employment contracts (e.g. employee counsel dynamics), litigation and support local country teams in their legal needs;
• Flexible personality, being able to work in a team, but also independent with minimal supervision;
• It would be a nice to have if you understand cloud business applications and understand the bill of limitations and responsibilities between Cloud Vendors, Customers and Consulting/Services Vendors;
• Can-do mentality and willing to take ownership in an enthusiastic and proactive manner;
• Knowledge of English (and Dutch) on a professional level.
