HDDN Legal Search is looking for a Legal Counsel (with 5 to 8 yrs pqe) for Publicis Groupe, one of the largest communications groups in the world. Working on diverse legal subjects with emphasis on commercial contracts and copyright law.

The various agencies of Publicis Groupe offer local and international clients a complete range of communication services, including creative-, media- and digital services. The Dutch legal department, supports all agencies of the group in the Benelux & Nordics.

Functie
You will play an active role in the team and will provide legal support to all agencies in the Benelux & Nordics. You will work with various jurisdictions, which means you have to take on a pragmatic approach. You will be in contact with international colleagues on a day-to-day basis and work in a dynamic environment. You will translate business needs into (practical) legal solutions and contribute to the excellent and highly esteemed work of the agencies.
Functie-eisen
• Master’s degree in Dutch law. A qualification in Belgian, Danish or Swedish law is also an option.
• 5 to 8 years of relevant working experience, preferably in-house.
• Experience with commercial contracting, preferably in an international context.
• Affinity and/or experience with copyright, advertising and media law.
• Knowledge of privacy and data protection law is a plus
• Flexible personality. Be able to work in a team, but also independent with minimal supervision. You know how to prioritize in an international and dynamic environment.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills and strong business sense.
• Willing to take ownership and do whatever needs to be done in an enthusiastic and proactive manner, and a strong work ethic with a high degree of accountability and organisation.
