Functie
With the above-mentioned growth Dept looks to continuously strengthen their corporate and legal structure, while keeping tight control over corporate and contractual matters and compliance in general. In practice this means you will be mainly responsible for corporate and M&A projects and other multi-jurisdictional corporate matters, such as the incorporation and liquidation of entities and internal mergers. You will also be responsible for global compliance affairs and willing to assist with commercial contract negotiations and management. Based in Amsterdam or Rotterdam at Dept’s flex offices or remote, you will collaborate with a wide range of other (business) disciplines, such as: Sales, M&A/Strategy, People & Culture, IT (Software & Data Engineers), Legal, Purchase, Business Development and Finance.
Functie-eisen
• A Master’s degree (LLM Dutch law) and a fluent level of Dutch and (legal) English language;
• 4-6 years of relevant experience in legal practice. Prior experience as a lawyer at a law firm and/or in-house experience in a listed multinational company is considered a plus;
• Thorough knowledge of corporate law and M&A transactions;
• Experience with both negotiating, drafting and executing a diverse range of commercial agreements and compliance is a pre;
• Commercially minded, results oriented and an excellent communicator;
• Strong interpersonal skills, self-motivated and proactive in supporting the business where possible.
