Functie
The main responsibility is to manage and support the dealer network, which consists of over one hundred and fifty independent dealers throughout EMEA plus CIS. In practice this means close cooperation with the business teams. Thereby you will efficiently be providing support in preparing, amending, reviewing and terminating (dealer) contracts. You may be involved in handling other legal topics, such as contract law, M&A, corporate law, corporate governance and (threatening) litigation. Work closely with the subsidiaries (located in the Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, France, Finland, Germany, Norway, Russia, Spain, Sweden and the UK) and branch offices (located in France and Dubai). Work closely with various departments within the company such as Sales & Services, Business Development, Internal Control & Compliance, Human Resources and Finance, and liaise with external advisors and legal counsel.
Functie-eisen
• University degree (Master in Law), in Dutch civil and/or notarial Law.
• Around 3-5 years relevant experience in a law firm and/or in-house legal department of an internationally operating corporation. Good knowledge of contract law. Knowledge of competition law is a nice to have.
• Analytical skills, ability to see details and process flows. Well organized and with an eye for detail.
• Ability to adapt to different cultures including the adoption of an understandable approach when explaining and discussing complex issues. Team player with ethical values and sense of responsibility.
• Fluent in English and Dutch, both in writing as well as verbally.
• Around 3-5 years relevant experience in a law firm and/or in-house legal department of an internationally operating corporation. Good knowledge of contract law. Knowledge of competition law is a nice to have.
