Legal Manager – VIA Outlets (vacature gesloten) – Amsterdam


A challenging newly created legal role for a talented corporate lawyer (3-5 PQE) within a dynamic and fast-moving company that operates at the heart of the European market for premium fashion outlet centres.


VIA Outlets – Europe’s fastest growing owner-operator of premium outlet shopping destinations was established in 2014 to acquire existing outlet centres across Europe and transform these centres in premium fashion outlets by applying their successful 3R strategy of Remerchandising, Remodelling and Remarketing. The working environment is enterprising and fast-paced. The employees are flexible and have a “can do” working mentality.

To support the holding (located at Schiphol WTC), on corporate legal/corporate secretary activities, we are looking for an independent Legal Manager who wants to work as part of a pan-European team.


The new Legal Manager will be involved in all areas of establishing the Group’s corporate presence in the country including internal governance in relation to the holding structure, the management and preparation of Board and Shareholder meetings and minutes, set up of an efficient Corporate Records management system, responsibility for all company secretarial responsibilities for the holding structure which consists of two Topcos and seven subsidiary Holdcos, as well as the various affiliated entities, and general other governance matters. In addition, the Legal Manager will be responsible for a wide range of commercial law matters, including the review and negotiation of contracts at the Dutch holding company level and compliance with applicable regulations and procedures.


• Dutch Master’s degree in law. A minimum of 3 – 5 years of relevant experience, preferably gained as a lawyer at a trust office, in a law firm or as a candidate notary.
• Good knowledge of corporate law (‘Boek 2’).
• Independent worker with commercial awareness and high attention to detail. Strong communicator with people at different levels and different countries.


• Work on a broad variety of corporate law/corporate secretary activities, close to the board and as part of the Group Legal team.
