As part of the Europe and Asia legal & compliance department, you will work alongside sixteen legal and compliance counsel to provide high quality ESG, regulatory and compliance advice to the business.
This is a visible and vital role, with great opportunities to work independently and plenty of exposure. In this role you will be responsible for: enabling & educating the business, regulatory compliance and doing the right thing: engage with stakeholders to support the improvement of sustainability and ESG compliancy.


You are an experienced professional in the field of law and sustainability. You have relevant experience in an international business environment, either as in-house legal counsel or within a law firm. We are furthermore looking for the following experience and skills:

• Academic law degree and between at least 4 and 7 years’ legal experience (as a lawyer or in-house);
• Strong personal affinity with and interest in sustainability and ESG;
• Demonstrated experience in implementing regulatory and preferably ESG/sustainability projects;
• Experience within a multi-national company and multi-cultural environment;
• Solid, practical judgment in business matters, e.g., with respect to sustainability and ESG issues. High professional ethics and personal integrity is a must;
• Ability to work flexibly and independently with regular consultation, with proper supervision;
• Good written and spoken English.
