We are currently looking for a Legal Manager for the legal department of JT International Holding B.V. (JTIH). The position will be based in Amstelveen, the Netherlands. The Legal Manager shall become part of a dedicated small legal team and shall have a key role within this team. The Legal Manager is hands on and willing to take on ad hoc projects and initiatives. She/he is a reliable partner for JTIH’s stakeholders and provides (corporate) legal support and advice to them.

The Legal Manager shall be working on a variety of corporate law matters and projects (cross-functional and international) together with the other team members. She/he shall be providing legal support on intragroup transactions, M&A deals, group funding’s and financing programs etc. In addition, she/he will facilitate other departments, such as business development, tax, treasury, internal audit, finance and P&C, with corporate legal support.

This position reports to the Legal Director – Corporate Secretary.


● University degree in Law and preferred in Corporate Law (Master level);
● 5 – 8 years of professional experience in a private practice as an attorney, candidate civil law notary or a trust company, as well as corporate in-house experience in multinationals.
● English is a must, Dutch is a plus and excellent writing and editing skills are required;
● A feel for corporate governance, a deep understanding of a project-based approach, connecting people, thinking outside-the-box and being pro-active are requirements;
● Strong work ethic; ability to manage a heavy workload and drive projects to completion on time;
● Excellent writing and editing skills;
● Passionate about testing new ideas, technology, etc. and innovating to drive results;
● Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of employees, in an international environment
